You were created to worship God passionately, with all your heart. Why is He so serious about receiving our worship? Is God some insecure tyrant who needs our worship to feel better about Himself? Or does worship actually benefit us?

In Mark 12, Jesus sat outside the Temple watching people give in the offering. None of it impressed Him, until one poor widow gave an unusual gift, 2 small copper coins worth just a penny. Jesus was so impressed that He called His disciples over to check it out. Why did such a small gift cause Jesus such excitement? Because it was all she had, and she gave it all to God. When it comes to worship, you may not have a lot of skill, you may not be a great singer, you may not know any musical instruments… but you can give your 2 small copper coins.
